Also, this would imply that people who work in glass and zeolite production/processing would be more at risk, which I don't believe is the case, so it's unlikely that this hypothesis holds up.
When I was a kid, I remember being a big scare about a connection between Alzheimer’s and aluminum. People were throwing out their aluminum pans. Not sure what ever came of it.
